Patrick
McKeane’s Scholarship Fund
In
memory of Patrick Limmer, the son of Steven and Kelly Limmer, and in
memory of Mick Keane, the brother-in law of Steve Limmer and brother
of Kelly Limmer, a scholarship fund is being set up in their name.
The scholarship is in conjunction with St. Mary’s High school
in South St. Louis of which is also Steve Limmer’s Alma matter.
Patrick Limmer attended High School at St. Mary’s and Mick
Keane’s son, Michael graduated from St. Mary’s. Steve
Limmer is the owner and sole proprietor of The Original Crusoe’s
Restaurant and the recently added Patrick McKeane’s Pub.
“I
really wanted to be able to give something back to this community
which has patronized our South City business for almost 30 years”
said Steve Limmer. “This is a way to memorialize Patrick and
Mick while at the same time extends a helping hand to some members of
this community.”
The
Original Crusoe’s Restaurant and Patrick McKeane’s Pub
will be hosting fundraising events for the Scholarship Fund
throughout the year. Decisions will be made on just how many young
men will benefit from the fund based on the amount raised.
St.
Mary’s High School is an outstanding school serving not only
the South City area, but also the surrounding counties for many
years. “To be partnered with St. Mary’s in this
Scholarship Fund will truly be a rewarding experience for me and
hopefully for the recipient(s),” said Limmer.
There
will be many donating opportunities throughout the year. Current
